shame on you

In Rome there is or was no student named Patrik.
Another fake testimonial related to the past.
Shame on you!

Hi
I can't understand why in my campus - Milan - professors are allowed to teach even if they don't speak a good English. This affects a lot the quality of teaching, courses are very poorly managed and I'm seriously concerned about this issue...I've talked several times to the staff on this issue, but they seem not particularly interested to solve this situation and the weak profs are the same as in the past
Hope they read this message!

shame on you

I'm student enrolled in Rome in 2006.
I should know this Patrik but there's no Patrick among my ex colleagues.
Only 3 students withdrew at the end of the year (and we all know the reasons, they were in Rome just to have some fun, do the hippies and the like) and one prof was fired because of her poor english, another because used to have strange relationships with the students.
All the other magnificent and experienced profs are here, happy to be here and with all the credentials to teach.
Patrik what you write is entirely false.
In 2006 we used to stay in Piazza del Popolo because of the renovation operations in Via Quintino Sella. We had problems with the space and the facilities but now....
come here and enjoy my beautiful school, a special place where you don't even deserve to stay.
Shame on you and on your bull. The last two years here at ESE are the greatest I have ever experienced!

shame on you//

Patrik is not my real name, I made the name up to remain anonymous... but believe me, my testimonial is not fake. Please tell me, Is what Im saying in my post not true?

you are a coward

# Posted: 7 Mar 2008 12:32:09

nothing is true for the reasons above. I've already described my experience and you don't even know what is ESE nowadays.
Shame on you!

You are either working for ese, brainwashed or in serious denial... Your reasons are bull.
And if your happy with this school you have really low demands (specially in relation to the fee costs), have you ever been to a real university??

Anyway, Anyone who is thinking about ese, think carefully about it.

shame on you

# Posted: 8 Mar 2008 06:13:28

You are either a competitor, a low achiever, a person with serious mental problems and in any case a coward who does not even have the courage to write with his real name.
I'm a student with great demands and expectations who has an indirect knowledge of the State University (because some of my kins used to study there), I've been living this reality since 2006 and it's a fact that you don't know anything of my school.
You can write only bull.
My Profs are great and committed. Classes are off only when they are sick, because they can get sick as all the human beings.
My internships have always been great and now I'm working on a part-time basis in the company which interned me last year.
I've plenty of study rooms, wireless connections all over the building, online library and something that you don't even know: the belief that I'm born for success and people like you are born for working painfully 24h a day and complain at the end of the month because the salary is never enough and the owners are always mean.

poor guy

Luke stop pretending to be Patrik or viceversa.
Wherever and whoever you are, your brain must be a total mess

Dear all,

my last post is dated February 28th and since then I have not written anymore.
Patrick is not me. I have never been to Rome Campus and I won't write on this forum anymore.

Good luck,

Luke

Operating an institution of higher education in the State of New York requires an approval of a college charter by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.

The so-called New York campus never applied for nor holds an approval (not that Regents would every approve a shady school like that). It operates without approval or accreditation; if you paid any tuition or fees to them, you are entitled to a full refund. I would encourage students in New York to turn them in to the Education Department's Office of College and University Evaluation. They will be shut down instantly. It is an operation without government approvals, licenses, or accreditation. Their degrees (particularly from New York Campus) will not be recognized by employers or universities; you will not be able to receive transfer credit, or use them as a basis for admission into a graduate program.

They are currently recruiting an admissions officer who will be paid a commission per student enrolled, a practice illegal under federal regulations.

There are plenty of excellent institutions in NYC, whether non-profit or for-profit; choose one of them. If you are enrolled at the European School of Economics already, ask for a refund and file a claim at a New York Court. Given the facts of their NY operations, you will win.

Guys give me a break!! How u could compare ese and lse? do u know what lse is? there are like 10 nobel prizes and the same number of presidents/ premiers which have studied at lse!! please dont even mention lse when u talk about this kind of private school that does not have any history. where ese is in rankings like financial times /economist/ business week.. ? please answer!!! when i started to get some info about ese they started to call me every day, like if they were selling something like "porta portese" (italians should know what I mean) . i think the job placement is good just because people who go there they r already rich and they would get a good job anyway. when u start ur application form they ask u what ur parents do?' what s that shit?? what my parents do is not their business!! i got parents from workin class and i m graduating from 1 of the top world business school and nobody has asked me what my parents do? this is ridiculous and ese represents the traditional italian system of recommendation/references and all bullshit like that!! (of course this is just my opinion but for who thinks different give me an answer why ese is not in any world/european business school rankings?and why is not accredited by Equis and Amba as most of the best business school in europe??

Hi,

I am from Bcn and I am thinking about studying at ESE a 12 weeks course in management or something similar. The course sounds good. I am looking for someone who has done this kain of short courses to know his/her experience and opinion.
I’m quite sure that all the placements are good but I would like to know more about the university.

Thank you!

Hey,

last year, I was looking for a graduate program in finance and requested information from ese because i was quite impressed by what they are offering. I talked to one of their representives and it actually sound like what i wanted to do. But then is was quite strange: They tried to convience me not to do a MSc but rather a MBA, saying it is a much better degree. The thing is, MBA is actually a degree in general management with no specialisation but they offer like 8 different streams?! When I asked about how many points I need in the GMAT, they told me it should be around 8?! Business Schools usually demand scores from 600-800, they simply mistook the GMAT with the IELTS. Furthermore it is possible to start studies without the test and do it later, very strange because this test is the main criteria when universities choose their students. The name: i think they have choosen ese because it is very close to lse(london school of economics) and iese, which are one of the best european business schools. And when looking at the curriculum, there is almost nothing about economics! Frankly, i think the "university" is pretty bad. Have you seen the listed nobel prize winners and business experts? Half of them are dead and i doubt that they have ever been there at all.

Hello,

Just, a representative of ESE, said me that i can study there,

It is very expensive, but they say that there are very good intership programs,

If somebody knows more about ESE, can you tell me?

I'm also searching, how popular it is and what is it's ranking, but unfortunately, i found nothing, there are very few information or more, there is nothing about that school.

I'm also interested in how valid is it's diplom in EU or USA?

Please, if somebody know about it, anounce me too?

Thanks

Marketing Manager: from Clinique to Unilever

I am Pinar Gedik, a former student of the European School of Economics in Lucca from Turkey. I did an MBA program in 1999-2000 period and just at the end of the school year, I was offered an internship in Gucci London office. I actually was your first intern in Gucci London and represented the school very well in the ‘Corporate Image Department’.

I worked as the Brand manager of Clinique, managing a team of 120 people including Marketing, sales and education managers. However, I decided to make a career move and I have continued my path at Unilever as Marketing Manager for all Home Care and Personal Care Categories.

I am telling you all these because my life in Lucca has shaped me tremendously and your speeches have contributed a lot to my career and life. I have actually written a novel recently and the first publisher that I sent it to wanted to publish it. So it got published in end of June and sold quite well. The name is ‘Everybody’s story’ and it takes place in Tuscany. But I must tell you that the main philosophy behind the book is as you have always said: ‘The world is such because you are such.’

Almost all the magazines have done interviews with me on the book. And in one of my latest interviews I mentioned the School... Because ESE has been a great inspiration to me. So I wanted to let you know and thank you.

Hi everybody,
My name is Joe and I'm a current third year student at the European School of Economics. When I came across this riducoulus thread, at first I just felt sad and sorry for all the young and hoping students that came in this place looking for answers and believed the words of some ANONYMOUS users falsly stating that they have been student at ESE. I really dont understand, if you have a minimum of intelligence or self-esteem, how can you take this people words for true. Cant you think with your own head? Cant you just ask the University to put you in contact with other student and hear directly from the REAL ones what the ESE experience is really like, like I did and like the serious people do? But now I feel compelled to answer to these accuses. For my pride and for the respect of the choice I made 3 years ago. Becouse I love my university and I feal attacked in first person.
ESE its a beautiful private college that graduates hundreds of student and if you prefear to believe to some anonymous people on the internet that just want to throw poison on a valid institution then you probably dont deserve to study here and to go somewhere else.

I would like, now, to share my own experience as a student for the ones in here that are serious about the choice they are about to make choosing a university and have a professional dream they want to achieve.

I started my International Marketing BA in the London Campus, a stunning victorian building just in front of Buckingham Palace and the Queen gardens.

Who are thinking about to enrol at this poor school my sincere advice is DO NOT DO IT. I am doing an MSc in finance in London and I am waiting for an Internship for over 4 months. At the beginning everything looks wonderful I had an interview with the director of the school who ensured my an internship in a big company and what I’ve got? Nothing Unfortunately I am not the only one in this situation there are a lot of students waiting for the so called internship that is mandatory but the school can not provide it. Is strange isn’t it? I am talking about the reality I know which is London as far as I know this one is the best campus and BA students a
Have no problems to get the internship but the MSc and MBA can not say the same. Also the MSc/finance curriculum is quite poor there are a few subjects related with finance.
So if you want to invest in you in your education choose another school.

I am from Madrid and I was thinking seriously about taking a short course in Music Management at ESE London, but I´m not so sure after reading so many bad things about the school!!

I would really appreciate the opinion of someone who has taken this course.

It´s a lot of money which you have to spend, so I want to be completely sure it´s gonna be worth it!
