My name is Chap Percival. I live and teach in Sarasota, Florida, USA. I have organized a trip to see the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century in July 2009. The trip is 13 days and goes to China and Tibet (I know that Tibet is in China). I have set up a website with info on the trip. Please check it out and let your friends know.

Thank you.

Greetings
It is good to find this forum/website. I am a stormchaser, eclipse chaser, comet hunter and have seen 7 total solar eclipses. I have videotaped 3 and my photo of the 2001 S.African eclipse was featured in Astronomy magazine. I will be going to the 2009 and have helped / presented with 3 different eclipse tours/ expeditions. I am also the comet observer award coordinator for the Astronomical league. Check out my earth-space blog. But also check out this tour .
