Hi, where can I learn of how harmful or dangerous second hand smoke is to my kids and what illnesses it causes them? Is there any method of ensuring that the children are not exposed to the smoke from my cigarettes if I smoke while they are at school. How long does the smoke linger in a normally ventilated home.
I don't want to sound ignorant but I would love to hear from anyone who knows a good book I can buy on the subject or any information available online.
Please don't just write that I should quit smoking. Anyone who smokes or smoked 20 a day or more knows what I mean I hope, and can give me some good advice. Thanks in advance. Ann Marie

It takes a full week for smoke to clear out of a room completely. Health risks include ear infections, increased risk for smoke related illnesses, and serious eye problems (Blindness and such) I'm seventeen, I know because I'm trying to convice my mom to at least smoke filtereds, my breathing is getting shallow and my ears hurt all the time. Secondhand smoke can also destroy a kids concentration at any age.
