Geico's client smashed my car because he was driving too fast. The adjuster took a long time to come; Geico would not pay for storage or towing. I couldn't afford to store the car so sold it to the tow yard. Geico says they can't pay because I moved the car. I have a letter that says to move the car.
Then they gave me a handwritten check that no bank, including the one its drawn on, will cash.
I have been without a vehicle for over 7 weeks and am so frustrated by the way I was treated. They would not communicate with my insurance company.
According to Geico, the person who signed for the letters doesn't work there. Geico needs to spend less money on commercials and learn how to help the people who were not at fault in an accident.

I totally agree with you. i am a gieco policy holder, wich when my 4 more months is up i will no longer do bis. with them! i was involved in a hit and run over a month ago and i needed to have my car fixed either bby the other peoples insurance company or through uninsured moter vech...the other party who hit me we can not myself or gieco get a hold of them to see if they have insurance so you wouold htink after a month they would just give up with them or let me pay only 100 out of pocket because the otheres dont seem to have insurance...nope i call gieco and they tell me well we have left messages and sent letters to them but still have not gotten a response okay its been over a month they are not going to call you all back for whatever the reason be!!!!!! they have ran these plates of hte other party and nothing comes back for insurance so.......here i am having to pay 500 out of my pocket because gieco will not give up trying to contact the other party....they said if they get intouch with the other party and insurance company then they wil refund me my 500$ but they can not give me a time limit...i said okay will it be withen 6-9 months and she said well it might not be......ugh i hate gieco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have had other insurance company before and i was in an accident and it was settled in less than 2weeks!!!!!!!! also not to mention that my car is still in the shop after 17days...and gieco was paying for my rental up untill 3days ago so i am stuck with the ill on that one too....
