Kempinski Hotel is actually located near Belek, not in the Belek itself (10 km away). If you wish to go to the nearest village called Kadriye (Kadryia) - there are some irregular services offered (Truck or Tractor - 1 Euro aprox) or a taxi - 7 Euros.
The hotel is near to the sea and has a large golf course. The whole are of the hotel is massive and has a very large pool and lots of green grass. When you get into the hotel - you are presented by a large hallways and lobby. It's very spacious.
The rooms are spacious as well, but there is a lack of cleanliness. Housekeeper may forget to wipe the floor or replace some stuff in the bathroom. You might notice that there is a charge for the use of TV internet - 15 Euros a day. While wireless internet is free - it works well in the hotel but poorly outside the hotel.
You may end up paying lots for drinks and snacks. A cup of coffee is 7-8 Euros, Campari is 13 Euros aprox.
You will receive an excelent service in the restautrants and bars, but the quality is poor if you use the bar at the pool. I cannot say that the SPA staff was the best either. Although you will have to pay 80 Euros for a 60 min massage.
Nothing much is offered in the hotel to keep you entertained. Unless you are a golf player. So basically you are paying high price for the hotel and help them to maintain their golf courses. And still - you have to pay 550 Euros to get into the golf course once.
The hotel has no transportation to anywhere. So if you need to get out of the hotel - call the taxi and pay 1 Euro per KM. Most trips may cost you a fortune.
Tour providers in the nearby villages are very poor and are unable to offer at least a decent service.
Conclusion:
Cleanliness of the rooms - 5 out of 10
Bar and restaurant prices compared to the quality of the product you get - 7 out of 10
Food selection - 5 out of 10
Entertainment - 1 out of 10
The beauty of the hotel - 8 out of 10
It is your choice now to pay for the green grass, clean pool and a golf course leaving any entertainment ideas aside.

Some tips if you are going to stay at Kempinski hotel:
- if you decide to eat crabs - bring your own tools to crunch the claws. Otherwise you'll have to use your own tooth.
- if you take boiled squid - don't eat it , before you clean off the skin (the transparent film covering the squid). Unless it has been cleaned already.
- make sure there are two types of slippers in the room. One for the pool area, one for the room. Housekeeper may forget to give you any of them. Ring the reception for clarification if such slippers are missing.
- make sure your room is cleaned well (especially the floor) to keep your white socks white. Ask for a housekeeper repeatedly if needed (there is a speed dial number for housekeeper).
- do not use any towel to wipe off any liquid you have spilled on the floor. Ask for a housekeeper to do this for you. Otherwise it may look this way:
- Always order drinks at the bar located on the ground floor if you need a drink at the pool. Use the bar located in the pool area in emergency only.

Please note, that the longer you stay at Kempinski hotels the more you get. Almost every day will be a new surprise. For example - taday we found out that Kempinski has amulets for every visitor tailor made. It's an "All seeing eye" stone in a luxurious bag. But such amulets are presented to the guests that are able to find out about the amulets... I found out about the amulet by accident which is going to be described below.
The amulet picture:
And this amulet was presented to me when I saw two types of shower gels and shapoo containers in the bathroom. SOme of them had expiry date late 2008 (a year from now on), some of them have expired 3 months ago. So I took both samples and went to the nearest housekeeper. She gave me lots of brand new shampoo containers and a nice bag with amulet. She smiled at me and handed the amulet with best wishes.

We stayed here in june 2007 for 10 days and we decided to book the Dome because we had so beautifull experiences in other Kempinski resorts. The Property is perfect- I havent seen a bigger pool and a nicer arranged leisure area, the fitness room is well-equipped and a personal trainer is around for a few hours during the day in the fitness area for free and the Spa is breathtaking.
But.... The front reception is not really what you expect from a Kempinski or a 5 Star hotel...When we arrived nobody asked if we wish a smoker or nonsmoker or a king or a queen bed room-we thought that is why we already made our wishes clear at the room reservation-but instead of a nonsmoking king we got a smoking queen....
Our wish of a change seemed to be too much effort for the front desk. Even the early check-in and an arrangement from the travel agency- didn't help.
During the 10 days of vacation they had two big company groups: imagine 50 to 100 noisy men screaming around at the pool. Not to mention the 3 partys with really loud music until longer than midnight which makes it unable to sleep......
Overall if you do not expect Kempinski style in dealing with the costumers and the 5 star service, then this is one of the nicest resorts in Turkey ...
