Situated on Kenya's North Coast in the small fishing village of Watamu , Giriama Residence is a superior quality, family run self catering, Guest House set in beautiful shady tropical gardens just a few minutes stroll to the white coral unspoiled beaches of the world famous Watamu National Marine Park. Indulge yourself in our warm highly personal service offering versatile accommodation to suit the individual requirements of families, couples and independent travellers alike.
This is the ideal location for those not wanting the restrictions imposed by larger hotels.
For those looking for adventure we offer overnight stays at our beautiful working farm in the bush at Msoloni experience one, two or more nights in a traditional Giriama 'shamba' we promise you an experience to remember! Stilted or local mud and thatch accommodation, crystal water drawn from a pristine well, meals cooked on wood fire. A clear view of the night sky with a hurricane lamp or two what more could you want? Our aim is to provide an African experience for all of our guests to enjoy!
Bed Rooms
We have four double bedrooms and two family rooms all en suite with showers, built in the traditional white Coastal style these airy rooms remain pleasantly cool even in the heat of the sub Saharan day.
All of our rooms feature King size hand carved four poster beds with mosquito nets, fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans.
Our downstairs rooms have large furnished verandas leading to spacious tropical gardens and terraces. Wheelchair access can be provided to downstairs rooms on request.
Upstairs rooms, two double and two family rooms have large balconies overlooking either the Indian Ocean or the gardens of the soon to be completed Pool area.
All rooms are cleaned daily with fresh bed linen and towels alternate days.
Double Rooms £20 per room per night
Family Rooms £30 per room per night

we ( 3 kenyan Citizens & 1 German) like to come to spend few dayz from 19.7 to 24.7 in your accomodation.
