| Susan_B | Posted: 2008-07-28 08:00:10 My daughter was sent home from childcare with a sore throat and cough. I thought it was just the common cold but it turned out to be the flu. She since developed a high temperature. How can I tell first hand if she has the common cold or the flu? |
| vijaykumarA | Posted: 2012-10-01 08:21:00 A common cold is a virus infectious disease which affect entirely nose region. And symptoms are running nose, cough etc. But flu symptoms are also similar to cold symptoms; it’s often hard one to tell the difference. There is one exact clue to find flu from cold symptoms. When you have the flu, you feel flu symptoms sooner than you would cold symptoms, and they come on with much greater intensity. |
