Hi,
yes, it is a good accommodation site.
Once you are in Split, than visit Hvar and Korcula islands
and off course visit Dubrovnik.

If you are going to stay in the north part of Istria (Umag, Savudrija). I recommend accommodation in zambratija. Zambratija is known for her beutiful beaches and purity of the sea. See more information about accommodation in Zambratija on http://www.jakac.com/en
