I am not interested in purchasing Microsoft stuff for premium. I have my own small Windows 2000 based server at home running my small blog. I do not like Apache and any other software made for Unix based servers and adopted for Windows. I like hMailServer but it requires MySQL or PostGreSQL to be run thus making things more complicated. i am not getting many emails and file based email server is more suitable. Anyone using such?

Most server software written for windows is either coming at premium or comes at amateur level. Why don't you setup some Linux based box (just setup from a CD which is Click & Play and easy to setup) and get real world applications? You would need less system resources and lower the chance of hangups. |
