| Hanna | Posted: 2010-03-17 06:49:12 What would you consider the most romantic place in the world? I have a couple examples from my own experience: 1. The Trevi fountain in Rome, Italy. It is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and I believe one of the most romantic places to spend an evening sitting by it with a glass of wine...(it would be nice if you were not alone though :)) ![]() 2. Carl's bridge in Prague, Czech Republic. It is said that Carl's bridge is a true masterpiece of medieval architecture, the most beautiful bridge in Prague and a perfect place for dating. It is believed that if you go on the bridge with your partner, kiss him/her and confess in love, you will always stay together. ![]() 3. Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence, Italy. It is a famous square with a magnificent panoramic view of the beautiful city of Florence. Climb the hill and get the breathtaking view of beautiful cathedral, churches and houses with red tiles... Isn't that romantic? ![]() What places would you recommend as the most romantic? |
| Anon. | Posted: 2010-03-19 09:37:07 I'm not sure if the Trevy Fountain itself is a romantic 'place'? I believe this is just one of the objets that makes the Spanish Steps and the whole Piazza di Spagnaa a romantic place. ![]() The crowds, including a lot of couples, sitting there day and night, makes this place, at least for me, the most romantic place in Rome. Don't you agree? :) |

| veewei | Posted: 2010-04-21 23:24:34 Heidu Klum and her husband recently had their renewal of vows in an Indian wedding ceremony. I think the culture of India is very romantic for newlyweds and they have nice places too. India could be a wonderful and romantic destination for honeymooners. |
| Anon. | Posted: 2010-04-27 05:06:06 I definitely agree that India has a lot of romantic places. However, which exactly? I have never been to India, so I would really like to know more about its magic places. |

| Anon. | Posted: 2010-04-30 03:41:33 I would also like to share some places I consider the most romantic ones. JordanRHughes I hope these too will be useful for you. Located in the heart of the Svartsengi Resource Park, Iceland, 'Blue Lagoon' is an incredible place to relax and spend wonderful time with your couple. Bathing in geothermal seawater, (known for its positive effects on the skin) in one of the most unique and popular attractions of Iceland is a pleasure you will never forget! At least I would like to return there again and again! ![]() For many tourists going to Barcelona, their trip would not be complete without a trip to the Magic Fountains in front of Barcelona Palace. Free shows of light, water and music take place in the evenings at weekends, and a lot of people gather on the stairs leading to the Barcelona Palace....more than romantic...it's incredible! ![]() Barcelona Montserrat is a spectacularly beautiful Benedictine monk mountain retreat about one hour North West from Barcelona by train. The natural beauty surrounding the monastery is simply breathtaking. It gives you the most spectacular mountain views of Catalunya. Sitting at top of the mountain, drinking wine...what could be more romantic? ![]() Looking forward to the other impressive areas and images! We have too many stunning views for them not to be shared! :) |

Travelling is one of my biggest passions, I could talk about various magnificent places forever :) However, I would also like people to share romantic places that I've not been to yet. India, Latin America, Canada, Africa...etc. Anyone? |
| Anon. | Posted: 2010-05-07 06:38:39 Some of the most beautiful places in Switzerland: Davos Botanical Garden, Switzerland. You will marvel at the diversity of Alpine flora as you are walking on well-marked paths and steps through the vast garden. June and July are the months when most plants are in bloom, but some rarities are in flower until the end of September. Signs indicate the names of the plants in German and in the original Latin, and whether they are medicinal or poisonous plants. ![]() The Giessbach Falls are among Switzerland's loveliest waterfalls. The huge masses of water plunging down over 14 levels of rock into the lake of Brienz is a magnificent natural spectacle. ![]() The small town of Appenzell, Switzerland, and the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden lie in a picturesque, hilly landscape to the south of Lake Constance. Rambling and climbing on the Alpstein and the region’s independent culture, fashioned by long-held rural customs and religious traditions, are the highlights here. ![]() |
