VLE/LDS is an American based business that has been operating for over 5 years connnecting native speakers of American-English with students and professionals in South Korea. The ideal candidate will possess: - a 4 year college degree (or nearing completion of a B.A. or B.S.) - a Teaching degree or English degree (preferred, but not required) - past teaching experience (preferred, but not required) - familiarity with software tools such as MS Office and Internet Explorer - a Standard American-English accent and knowledge of English grammar Teachers will need the following: - 2 or more hours of uninterrupted time (during: 6-11AM or 5-8PM) - PC or laptop with at least 2GB of RAM and 2GHz processor - High Speed Internet connection, with a hard-wired link between computer and modem All training and software is provided for free. Upon completion of training, tutors will be given a 12 month, renewable, contract.
