Public Relations
This fast-track three-year diploma program is delivered over 2 1/2 years. It focuses on effective communication strategies in the industry. Effective communication requires an in depth understanding of people's motivation, capabilities and relationships. It also demands a technical knowledge of methods of communicating to establish policies that will serve both the human needs of people and the economic needs of business.
Business Administration - Operations Management
The Operations Management program prepares students for a wide variety of career opportunities in the governmental, service and production segments of industry. It will appeal to those who wish to be in the forefront in developing and controlling a growing and dynamic Canadian industrial economy, and who find satisfaction in seeing things accomplished. Studies include planning and controlling production, inventory, quality, purchasing, costing, budgeting, facilities and supply chain management. Emphasis is placed on management level decision-making and problem solving utilizing just-in-time and lean strategies.
Electronics Engineering
The Electronics Engineering Technology program is three years in duration, covering theory with hands-on practical, project based learning of analog and digital electronic circuits and systems, microprocessor based controls, robotics and PLC based controls, telecommunication systems and instrumentation and control.
Graphic Design
The program prepares students for entry into the graphic design field as an entry level designer. Graphic designers develop images that persuade, inform and instruct. Students learn the skills to solve specific visual problems through practical work that covers the broad spectrum of visual communication in corporate, editorial and advertising design.
