In fact, most lawyers consider them to be “the glue that holds a firm together.” The Legal Administrative Assistant program combines general office administration training with specialized legal courses so students develop a broad understanding of the day-to-day practices of a law office.

Learn about the Canadian courts system, legal rights, practices and procedures. Study criminal law, civil litigation, real estate and conveyance, wills, estates and more. Gain hands-on experience through a five-week practicum. Career opportunities: Positions in a variety of legal settings such as law offices, firms and legal departments of large corporations. Opportunities also exist in the court system, government offices and real estate firms.
