Medical Records Administrator Diploma Program:
Information management plays an important role in medical facilities. The Medical Records Administrator program will teach you to compile, review, analyze and classify health-related information to enhance the quality of patient care. Learn medical terminology and disease classification systems. Learn to examine the various legal and ethical issues surrounding medical records, including government legislation relevant to confidentiality (Federal Privacy Act) as well as the release of information with and without patient consent. Gain hands on experience during a five-week practicum in a health care setting.

Career opportunities include Medical Records Clerk, Admitting Clerk, Ward Clerk and Medical File Manager amongst others.
