Established in 1987 as the Cortiva Institute - Somerset School of Massage Therapy, Cortiva has always pursued the highest standards for massage therapy education. Cortiva Institute massage schools offer Professional Massage Therapy program that is a comprehensive massage course of instruction offering massage training that bridges intellectual discipline with technical expertise. As the first massage school in NJ approved by the New Jersey Department of Education, we were also the first massage school in the state accredited by COMTA.
Now after 18 years of consistently providing our students with excellent preparation for successful careers in massage therapy, Cortiva is entering a new phase of development. Saint Peter’s College, located in Jersey City and Englewod Cliffs, New Jersey, is a Jesuit, Catholic, co-educational, liberal arts college, which seeks to develop the whole person in preparation for a lifetime of learning, leadership and service in a diverse and global society.
The Nursing Program at Saint Peter’s College will prepare students who are high school graduates (or transfer students from other colleges) for professional nursing (RNs) practice. The program is four years in length and students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. The program is supported by the 25 years of success of the College’s existing Nursing programs, which include the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program for career RNs and the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. The School of Nursing at Saint Peter's College has received provisional accreditation from the New Jersey Board of Nursing for this program.

The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Nursing (UMDNJ-SN), is one of eight schools that form the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Our main campus is in Newark but administrative offices, faculty offices, classrooms and laboratory space are located in cities throughout New Jersey including Piscataway, Stratford and Glassboro. We offer educational programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, post-master’s and doctoral degree levels for more than 900 students and provides continuing education courses for health care professionals.
Its community service projects include a mobile health care program in Essex County and a health clinic in Camden County. Its major centers include the Stanley Bergen Center for Multicultural Education, Research and Practice, and the François-Xavier Bagnoud Center, which provides clinical care, education and technical assistance in the United States and globally to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
UMDNJ - School of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by NJSNA, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.
