Department of Nursing Education at George Washington University:
The Department of Nursing Education at George Washington University, located in Washington, D.C., is an accredited School of Nursing offering Undergraduate and Graduate Degree Programs in Nursing. The George Washington University’s Nursing programs were created to develop nursing leaders who will be actively engaged in health promotion, patient advocacy, and health-care innovation. Our goal is to provide students with a high level of nursing expertise, as well as enhance their professional leadership skills.

All Nursing programs at the George Washington University are fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Individual programs are also accredited by discipline-specific accrediting bodies. We are pleased to announce that our Master of Science in Nursing degree program obtained five-year accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The BSN program has been approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
