Located in Norfolk, Virginia, we provide a Practical Nursing program which prepares the students for a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). LPNs are expected to provide a safe and effective nursing care in routine clinical situations under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed physician. Upon successful completion of this program, the students will be eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) conducted by the National Council of State Board of Nursing (NCSBN).

Practical Nursing Program:
The Practical Nursing Program prepares the students for a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). LPNs are expected to provide a safe and effective nursing care in routine clinical situations under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed physician.

To be a Licensed Practical Nurse, one must meet the requirements of the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Nursing. REDD Educational Institute prepares their students to meet those licensing requirements.

The Practical Nursing Program consists of 1400 hours of classroom lectures, supervised skills laboratory activities and clinical practice.

Upon successful completion of this program, the students will be eligible to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) conducted by the National Council of State Board of Nursing (NCSBN).
