Located about 25 km east of Toronto, Ajax is considered part of the Greater Toronto Area in the eastern section of the Golden Horseshoe. The CDI College campus in Ajax is at 100 Westney Road South and is conveniently situated close to the GO Transit station, allowing students and their families easy access from Ajax, Toronto, Oshawa and Bowmanville.

Ajax and the surrounding Durham Region comprise one of the fastest growing areas of Ontario, with a combination of established and newer neighbourhoods. With close to 1,900 businesses in town, Ajax is a vibrant business community with a strong local labour force. Ajax also boasts 6 km of undeveloped waterfront (the largest in the Greater Toronto Area) where residents and visitors can enjoy 600 hectares of natural areas and parkland along Lake Ontario.

There is also a range of opportunities for shopping within the town. Head over to Pickering Village and check out the various shops, specialty boutiques and gourmet restaurants.
