Healthcare Certificate Training Programs
Nurse Aide (CNA) Training Program:
Individuals who are interested in Nurse Aide Training will gain a distinct competitive advantage by obtaining a certificate of completion in nurse aide training only after six weeks. As a nurse assistant, you will play a vital role in healthcare delivery.

Pharmacy Technician Training Program:
Pharmacy Technicians work in pharmacies under the direction of a Pharmacist. Their main responsibility is filling the prescriptions according to doctors’ orders to dispense to patients. This generally includes, but is not limited to, retrieving drugs in the correct dosage, form, and strength, measuring the appropriate amount of the drug, and producing a prescription label.
Pharmacy Technicians have a very secure future in the state of Virginia. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicted this industry to have a constant increase in its production and work force over the next decade.
Medication Aide Training Program:
The Medication Aide Training Program will give you the hands on experience you need to be successful in today’s medical field. Medication Aides can provide medications in such areas as extended care facilities, assisted living centers, and child care settings.
Our Medication Aide Training Program is a 2 week course, Monday through Friday, with a choice of daytime hours of 9:00am-2:30pm or 5:30pm-10:00pm. All classes are taught by licensed RN’s or LPN’s and we are accredited.
Personal Care Aide Program:
The Patient Care Aide (PCA) assists patients with many tasks that they cannot do for themselves while they are in hospitals or in the home environment.
Our PCA Program consists of a 2 week course, Monday through Friday, with a choice of daytime hours of 9:00am to 2:30pm or evening hours of 5:30pm to 10:00pm.
All classes are taught by licensed RN’s and LPN’s and we are accredited.
Medical Billing and Coding:
The Medical Billing and Coding Program (MBC) is designed to prepare student entry level positions as Medical Biller/Coders in today's health care offices, clinics, hospitals and insurance companies. Students study ICD-9 and CPT coding and terminology as it relates to the accurate completion of medical insurance claims. The combination of theses skills will prepare students for the ever-changing field of medical billing and coding.
Phlebotomy Training Program:
The Phlebotomy Program is a Certificate Program designed to provide through didactic and clinical instruction, training in venipuncture. Didactic lectures cover the theory, anatomy and terminology pertaining to the cardiovascular system. Clinical instruction provides hands-on-training in venipuncture technique with procedures verified through a skills check-off system. Upon completion of the program, the student will qualify to take the national exam to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician.
