Apprenticeships:

Image of Technical College in Seattle WAApprenticeship combines classroom studies with the on-the-job training supervised by a journey-level craft person or trade professional. Like a college education, it takes several years to become fully trained in the fields that offer apprenticeships.

As an apprentice, you’ll earn while you learn. At first, you’ll make less money than skilled workers do. As you progress, you’ll get regular raises and once you’ve mastered the craft, you’ll receive the same wages as a professional.

At Lake Washington Technical College we offer apprenticeship style training in three areas:

Based in Bremerton, Kitsap County WA, Olympic College (OC) is a two year public institution offering associate transfer degrees, professional-technical degrees and certificates, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and an individualized Associate Degree in General Studies. Students may also work toward earning a bachelor’s degree through OC partnerships with Old Dominion University, St. Martin’s University, and Western Washington University.

Earn a Seattle Pacific University Post-Bachelor's TESOL Certificate via onsite four-week intensive classes, evening classes, or via online classes anywhere in the world.

School of Teaching ESL in Seattle, WA (in cooperation with Seattle Pacific University) gives students several choices regarding professional development in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL).

Offered via three study formats, our accredited TESOL program may be used to earn a Seattle Pacific University Post-Bachelor's TESOL certificate (12 credit or 24 credit options) or WA state ELL Endorsement offered at School of Teaching ESL.
