This 8-week course covers: Household Management; Etiquette & Protocol; Clothing and Valet Care; Butler Skills; Table Setting and Service; Event Planning; Cigars and Coffee; Security & Driving; Housekeeping; Gardening; Laundry; Wine; Mixology and Champagne; First Aid; Private Aircraft Management; Cooking; Family Office; Mechanicals; Human Resources; Hotel Butler Department; Household Management.
Students have the option of taking the program in its entirety or taking classes on an individual basis. The curriculum is thorough and has been designed to provide students with all the skills they will require to succeed as a butler or household manager.
Placement Assistance:Charles MacPherson Associates has a placement division that specializes in the placement of butlers, household managers, chefs, chauffeurs, executive housekeepers and nannies in good positions around the world. During the program a placement officer will meet individually with each student to ascertain their job preferences and work with them to fine tune their interview techniques and their resume presentation.
Laboratory Teaching Methodology:
We are the only butler school to have developed a laboratory methodology of instruction. Our laboratory classroom is fully outfitted with the tools and products of fine luxury homes ensuring that students receive the precise hands on experience that they will require in private service career. Our curriculum is broad, practical and skills focused. We emphasize skills over grand surroundings. We eschew dusty, outmoded practices in favor of instruction on skills that are current and relevant to today’s households.
