Study Abroad:
Students who are enrolled full-time at Westminster College and who wish to study off-campus may choose from Westminster's 150+ approved foreign and/or domestic programs. The office can provide assistance with advising, potential credit transfer and financial assistance. Study abroad experiences are not required, but at the same time more and more students are taking advantage of study abroad opportunities and employers are quick to notice this experience. Because our world seems much smaller today, cross-cultural experiences are highly valued and needed more than ever before. Not to mention the fact that most students consider it the best experience of their college career!
Internships:
Westminster College offers a centralized Internship Program through the Office of Career Services that encourages students to take advantage of experiential learning opportunities on and off campus. Internships allow students to earn academic credit while undertaking planned, professionally supervised work experiences related to their on-campus academic programs and career interests.
Student Activities:
A little initiative is all it takes. Westminster’s tight-knit community creates an atmosphere that makes it easy and fun to get involved. With over 50 clubs on campus, intramurals, Campus Activities Board (CAB) events, and the Student Government Association (SGA), it is easy to find something that sparks your interest. If there is something different that appeals to you, take the opportunity to become a founding member of your own student organization on campus. All you have to do is come by the Office of Student Activities.
