The Washington Institute offers a wide range of natural health care career training programs such as Reflexology, Acupressure, Reiki, Holistic Health, Holistic Nutrition, Guided Imagery, Homeopathy and more.
Classes can be taken on-location or through online / distance learning. Our director Dr. Victoria Goldsten has had over 30 years of health care experience. Our practitioners have over 100 years of combined experience. The center's staff includes Doctors of Naturopathy, Doctors of Integrative Homeopathy, certified and licensed practitioners, and natural health care interns.
The Washington Institute of Natural Medicine (WINM) is accredited through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and the American Alternative Medical Association. We also have satellite locations in Maryland: Rockville, Kensington and Gaithersburg.

2. VMT Education Center, Washington
Courses / Programs
VMT Education Center is located in northwest Washington D.C. and offers licensed and certified training programs in practical nursing, nursing assistant, pharmacy technician, home health aide and massage therapy. The school consists of 4 classrooms and 2 clinical labs, in addition to a Learning Resource Center, Computer Lab, and administrative offices. We also provide job placement assistance. VMT Education Center, Inc. is committed to providing high quality educational services that meet and exceed the D.C. Education Licensure Commission's Standards of Excellence, to ensure that all students develop the necessary functional skills leading to self-empowerment and job security.
The school has been approved for the training of veterans. VMT Education Center participates in Veterans Affair Funding, which allows United States Veterans to use their GI Bill for educational purposes. VMT Education Center has an agreement with the District of Columbia Department of Education Services (DOES), that allows DOES to sponsor students for VMT Education Center programs. We are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
