Continuing Education for Medical and Mental Health Professionals
The National Association for Continuing Education (NACE) provides high quality, evidenced-based continuing education to medical and mental health professionals through live conferences and seminars, online courses for independent study, and web-assisted learning to improve patient care. NACE provides live conferences for continuing medical education (CME) and online courses for continuing education for mental health professionals.
These courses are approved by the American Psychological Association (APA), Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and other state boards and organizations. There are two types of home study courses: those that are mailed to you for completion and those that are completed online.
Courses
NACE offers over 100 home study courses (many of which are online courses) for psychologists, social workers, marriage and family counselors, and substance abuse counselors on topics such as Clinical Practice, Depression and Anxiety, Eating Problems, Family Dynamics, Parenting, Learning Disabilities, ADHD in Children and Adolescents, Ethics & HIV/AIDS.
NACE overs a diverse range of topics including CME conferences for physicians and nurses in primary care medicine, rheumatology, endocrinology, oncology, cardiology, and osteoporosis.
