Our mission is to provide adults with access to third level education through Distance Education regardless of location, employment, domestic or personal circumstances, or prior qualifications.

All of our programmes are accredited by Dublin City University. You study in your own time, at your own pace and wherever is most convenient, with the help of our specially written self-instructional course texts and Moodle - a virtual learning environment. You build your study timetable to fit your individual lifestyle. To date, thousands of adults have obtained Irish university qualifications through Oscail. Courses:Diploma in Arts & Bachelor of Arts (BA.) (Humanities); Diploma in Information Technology & Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Information Technology; Bachelor of Nursing Studies, Graduate Diploma MSc. in Information Technology for Accountants; Graduate Diploma & MSc. in Internet Systems; Graduate Diploma & MSc. in Management of Operations; All of our programmes are accredited by DCU. What do we offer:We offer you the chance to achieve an Irish university qualification without changing your current lifestyle. No previous qualifications are required for our undergraduate programmes if you are over 23 years of age - except for the Bachelor of Nursing Studies programme which is for registered nurses only. Students under 23 years on 1st January of the forthcoming academic year must meet the normal entry requirements of the University, as appropriate to the programme. There are several routes of entry to the Postgraduate programmes.
