The Doctor of Education (EdD) program is compatible with the busy lifestyles of professionals in education who may continue to work in their communities while developing new leadership skills, engaging in scholarly discourse, and conducting research. The program will include web-based and face-to-face courses. Structured support is built into the programs to facilitate program completion in a timely manner.

Doctor of Education (EdD) Specialization Areas:

- Educational Leadership; This specialization positions graduates for administrative and research-related careers with an understanding of organizational change.

- Educational Technology; Students in this specialization have the opportunity to investigate a broad spectrum of instructional design and development techniques as they apply to newer technologies and to explore new directions in instructional design and development and evaluation as they emerge in the literature.

- Higher Education Leadership; This specialization is designed for graduate students who would like to continue their careers as leaders, administrators, and academics in this field.

- Workplace & Adult Learning; The Workplace and Adult Learning (WAL) specialization is designed for professionals interested in a leadership role in creating and shaping adult learning environments in their workplace.
