Distance Learning College - Online Theology Courses
St Simon's College offers diplomas, certificates
and short courses in Christian theology and
church music via distance learning. Founded in
London, the College accepts students from all
over the world with no residential requirements
for any course. The College is affiliated to the
Independent Old Catholic Church of the Utrecht
Succession (IOCCUS) though it is open to those
of all denominations and none who accept its
liberal Christian ethos.
The College is an Associate Member of the British Learning Association and bound by the BLA Code of Conduct. It has been quality certified to IC9200 standard by the International Charter Organisation.
Courses
Short courses are undertaken online using our
Moodle teaching facility. They include courses
on bereavement, liturgical vesture and church
music composition. We offer certificates for
funeral ministers (of any faith and humanist)
and in pastoral studies for ordained clergy. Our
diplomas in theology and church music range from
the first diploma of Associate to a postgraduate
diploma, each of which is examined by coursework
and/or a dissertation.
