Instituto de la Lengua Magallanes is based in Madrid, Spain. We offer Online Spanish courses with the support of your own personal tutor. Our online Spanish courses have two main components: The Spanish Virtual Classroom (AVE) developed by the Instituto Cervantes , which functions as the online course. Tutorials, managed by our own tutors, which complement the online courses and will help you to acquire the knowledge and skills you need to achieve your communication aim in Spanish. Courses aimed at communication: Our courses are designed to develop the ability of communicating in Spanish. Apart from working autonomously through the use of interactive exercises, you will follow in every lesson, a certain number of activities in which you must express yourself in Spanish with class mates or with their tutor.

Our on line Spanish courses are available for the 16 Spanish levels which correspond to the Instituto Cervantes curricula distributed into 4 major groups: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency. Each level is composed of 3 lessons and the time needed to complete each level is between 45 to 50 hours. Each course last three months and when you finish, you would have completed a level.
