The mission of American Century University is to provide quality higher education that encourages independent inquiry for individuals who wish to study in certificate courses and for already accomplished individuals who wish to obtain undergraduate or graduate degree programs. Since 1978, American Century University has been striving to fulfill this mission by offering occupationally related, self-paced, nonresident and resident education.
The university currently offers certificate courses in Medical, Computer, Accounting, HVAC, Medical Transcription, and Pharmacy Technician; and degree programs in Business Administration, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Education, Engineering, Food Marketing, Health Care Management, Management Consulting, Occupational Safety and Health Management, Psychology, and Public Administration.
American Century University's select constituency is comprised of adults who, through work experience, have gained considerable competency in their professions but who desire to broaden their knowledge and to gain further recognition and advancement.

American Century University has a second life island used for training, meetings, graduations and live online classroom and lab simulations.

Locations:American Century University's main campus is near the center of Albuquerque metropolitan area in New Mexico, USA. The address is 2201 San Pedro, N.E. Building 3 Suite 220 Albuquerque, NM 87110. It is easily accessible by public transportation with adequate parking. It is located in a modern office building, which consists of classroom, lab and offices designed as a business school with a library on the premises.
American Century University's Branch campus is in San Jose California USA which is located in the heart of Silicon Valley. It is easily accessible from all of Santa Clara County. The school's physical address is 646B N. King Rd, San Jose, CA, 95133 and it occupies 4,000 square-feet of classroom and offices on one floor specifically designed as a business school. This campus has a capacity for 50 students, an open lab area with a capacity for 15 students, with teaching equipment sufficient to meet educational needs of all attending students. There is a library, medical lab, networking/computer lab and a lunchroom on the premises. Public transportation is available right outside of the building.
