English Stay York:
English Stay York is a family run English school in the city of York, North Yorkshire in England. We are fully qualified and experienced teachers offering English language courses and homestay programs for adult students from beginner through to advanced levels. As well as general and intensive English courses, we offer English for special purposes such as business, medical or academic. We also offer preparation for exams including IELTS, TOEFL or FCE.

You will benefit from an English learning programme totally tailored to your needs. You will also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in English culture & experience different activites around the town.

- 1-1 Intensive general English courses for all levels for 1 week - 12 weeks
- Homestay and English course 15 or 20 hours per week
- 2-1 General English course for all levels
- Preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, FCE exam
- English for specific purposes including business, medical or academic

Course Options:
Option 1 - You can live in the home of your fully-qualified English language teacher. The rest of the time you benefit from lots of conversation practice by participating in the usual everyday household activities of your personal tutor and family, and by meeting people in the local community. You may, of course, have as much independent time as you wish.

Option 2 - You can stay in a local hotel, B&B and receive individual language tuition, specifically adapted to your own level, learning pace and interests in our office in York and in the afternoon you can choose one of the many activites. Make amazing progress in the shortest possible time. You acquire an authentic accent, total confidence and real fluency in the language.

We are a married English couple with over 18 years experience in the ESL industry between us. We are both English teachers from North Yorkshire. We have worked in large international schools in Turkey and language schools all over Asia. We have opened and run our own English language schools in Italy and Spain.

We have worked all over the world; and have now returned to the United Kingdom to offer a different immersive experience to our students in a comfortable, safe & supportive environment. We understand the students needs!
