Get ready to put the hammer down with Hammerball, an online physics-based skill arcade game where you protect your planet from a robot invasion, and go into battle controlling your own futuristic flying machine (a circular fighting robot has a hammer on the end of a chain, and this weapon can be wielded / swung to great effect). Take on enemy robots, and smash them to pieces, on your way to victory in 20 increasingly difficult battleground levels. Upgrade your oscillating hammer from a simple wooden mallet to an awesome metal crushing device – and beyond!
This fast-paced action adventure will really test your hand-eye coordination, as you have to carefully control the movement of your flying robot to ensure maximum damage on your opponent. Your quick reactions will also be tested, as there are sometimes more than one enemy robot attacking at a time. Are you ready to ‘hammer’ your authority into these inferior robot challengers? It’s time to kick-start your very own Robot Wars! Good luck out there!
How to Play: In each of the 20 increasingly challenging levels, you must defeat all of your robot opponents without losing a life. Control your circular fighting robot using your computer mouse or touchpad. Your robot’s movement follows that of your mouse cursor – and this dictates the movement of the hammer that is attached to the robot. Swing it like a pendulum towards your enemies in order to inflict damage on them before they hurt you. Each of your opponents has a little Health Bar that you have to extinguish in order to eliminate them. Once all of the enemy robots have been eliminated, you progress to the next level.
Your own Health Bar is located in the top left corner of the game screen. Below that is your “Rage Bar”. As this fills up, you inflict more damage on your opponent. You lose Health if you hit off the sides of the rock wall, or get hit by an opponent. Each time you eliminate an opponent, a Health Power-up drops to the ground. Collect these to replenish your Health Bar. If you lose a life, you have to restart the level from the beginning. Before the action begins, you have to choose a special move, known as a “Primary Ability”. This can be a saw, slow motion capabilities, or a laser gun. Left Click to activate this special ability during battle.
