Free Classic-style Arcade Game to Play – Warp Shot
Warp Shot is a challenging gravity-based arcade game where you have to propel a ball through a portal in a series of increasingly difficult levels. In this mini-golf-like puzzle game, you have to use obstacles, gateways and gravity to move the ball around the game screen and through the portal (exit). Like golf, each level has a par score and your goal is to get the ball into the portal in as few shots as possible.
Each level increases in difficulty, with objects and other obstacles blocking the easy path between the ball and the portal. Spot pathways, shoot through teleporters and judge the correct angles from which to take your shot. This tricky problem-solving puzzle will really test and exercise your observational skills, hand-eye coordination as well as your strategic planning abilities. Ready to step up to the mark and show us your ball control skills? Ok then, Good luck.
How to Play: Using your computer mouse, Left Click and drag from the ball to see the pathway that it will take. Release the click and the ball will fly along the path. Your goal is to get the ball into the bright white portal on the opposite side of the game screen. As you move through the levels, difficult obstacles are introduced to block your path. There are teleporter gateways the you have to navigate through. The portals are color-coded – so if the ball enters a red teleporter on one side of the game screen, it comes out of the other one. There are also gravity-altering orbs which make the ball behave oddly when it goes near one.
In some levels, you have to collect smaller balls to open up the portal. Each level has a ‘Par’ score. Try to get the ball to the portal in as few shots as possible to score maximum points. Left Click the ‘Restart Level’ at the bottom of the game screen to replay the level. If you want to continue the level but get the ball back to its original position, click ‘Respawn’.
Tip: Use the pathway that appears from the ball as a guide. You don’t always have to shoot the ball at full power.
