Tetris’d is a very challenging arcade-style platform game based on the classic puzzle concept, Tetris. However, there is a twist. In Tetris’d, you have to acrobatically and dramatically dodge and evade falling blocks (meteorites), and survive for as long as possible in this intense and perilous environment. You play the role of an highly-mobile, high-jumping Stickman under pressure, and you have to stay out of harm’s way as best as you can by weaving and leaping around to avoid the structures falling fast out of the sky. Perform dangerous flips and cool wall jumps – just be careful not to get ‘Tetris’d (i.e. – squished!) being over-confident.
This fun, skill-based game requires super-quick reactions, doubly nifty fingers and a cool head. It should be ideal for fans of old-school retro platform activities like Mario and Donkey Kong, and any gamers who love high-octane survival games. Good luck!
How to Play: Your goal is simple – survive for as long as you can by dodging and leaping around, avoiding the lethal falling Tetris blocks. Perform awesome acrobatic flips as you dodge and weave your way around the blocks which are piling up thick and fast. The blocks continuously fall in random places, so you have to keep moving smartly and quickly – otherwise your Stickman gets squished and you have to start over! Avoid dropping off the sides of the platform. Survival gets more difficult as you progress. In other words, your success in surviving only brings you more challenges – But that’s the whole fun of it!
Use the Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard or touchscreen to control your Stickman. Alternatively, you can use your “WASD” Keys. There are two special moves that you can utilize to help you in your quest to survive this onslaught of falling blocks. If you are standing beside a ledge that is taller than you, hit the “K” key to flip up onto the higher ledge. To perform a “Wall Jump” action, hit the “J” key while you are in the air and impacting with a falling block or ledge. If possible, keep one eye on the ticking clock in the top left corner of the game screen. Survive for as long as you can, and try to break your own time record each time!
Tip: Before you start, we recommend that you play the Tutorial Level (which is selected on the main menu screen) to get to grips with the controls first.
