On Its Own is a great classic checkers game! Play this 17th century-style checkers board game for kids, teens and grown-ups. Eliminate all other checker pegs, leaving only one peg in the center hole of the board. A checker peg can be moved over another piece into an unoccupied spot. The “bridge piece that is jumped over” will then be eliminated. Pieces can only be moved horizontally and vertically, and not diagonally. To undo your last move, click R on your keyboard or ‘Take Back’ at the top of the screen.
Tip: Try to eliminate the pieces from the corners first. The game is time-based, try to be quick to get more points. As the time passes, your score decreases. Click P on your keyboard to pause the game if you need to take a break. If you get stuck, you may restart the level by clicking on the corresponding icon at the top of the screen. Try to think logically and create your own strategy to solve this fun brain teaser puzzle.
