Solitaire is a fun and addicting single-player card game based on the most popular version of classic Solitaire, Klondike. Build four stacks of cards (one for each suit) in ascending order from Ace to King, through careful concentration and observation. Solitaire is played with a single deck of 52 cards. There are 28 cards distributed into seven columns. The top card in each column is face up, and all the other cards beneath it are face down. There are 4 empty spots at the top of the game screen called “Home Stacks”. This is where you build the stacks of each suit needed to win, starting with the Ace card of each suit. Carefully consider all the options available when moving your cards to finish the game as quickly as possible. Good luck!

How to Play: To win the game, stack all the cards from Ace to King in the four suit spots on the game screen (hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades). Use your computer mouse to move the cards by clicking and holding the left mouse button on the card you wish to move or turn over and drag it to the desired location. Once you have the Ace placed in the correct spot, you can start to stack all the cards of that suit in the order from 2 to King. The cards can be moved between the bottom columns, however, this cannot be done at random.

Columns at the bottom of the screen must be built in descending order, from Ace to King, and in alternating colors (red / black). For example, a 7 of spades can be placed on an 8 of hearts, but not on a 2 of any suit or on an 8 of clubs. The game is not limited to moving single cards. Chunks of cards can be moved between columns if they are stacked in a sequential order. For example, if you have a column with a Queen of hearts, a Jack of spades, a 10 of diamonds, a 9 of clubs, an 8 of diamonds and a 7 of spades, you can pick up the Queen of hearts along with the whole group of listed cards in sequential order stacked below it.

Receive more cards by clicking the deck in the upper-left corner of the game screen, if you run out of moves. Cards for the “Home Stack” piles can be moved quickly by double clicking the left mouse button on them instead of dragging. This will save time. Press the “P” key on your computer keyboard to pause the game and the “S” key to disable / enable the sound. Click on the menu button in the bottom-right corner of the screen and go to main menu to restart the game, if you get stuck. The timer and the best time recorded are indicated at the top of the screen.
