It’s a well-known fact that school bus drivers have to be among the safest and most competent drivers on the road. Not only are they entrusted with the safety of children, they also have to be able to maneuver a big, difficult-to-handle vehicle! Have you got the expert driving skills to become a certified school bus driver? School Bus License is a fun, challenging online driving game for kids where you play the role of a bus driver, and have to pass 20 difficult driving tasks in order to gain your school bus driving permit. This is no mean feat – as a strict Instructor is marking your every move, and the clock is ticking. So can you pass the test under pressure?

This is definitely not the time to try and emulate Otto, the wacky bus driver from the Simpsons! In this tricky RPG driving simulation activity, you have to carefully guide your school bus through obstacle courses, parking lots, busy streets, and more. You have to pass all 20 tasks to earn your license. Your Instructor is very strict – one wrong move, and he gives you a big X on your test score. You’ll need a steady hand, and precise driving ability to succeed here. Have you got what it takes to become an active school bus driver – or are you destined to be a passive passenger forever? It’s time to find out – let’s get this show on the road! Good luck with the test!

How to Play: In order to receive your school bus driver’s license, you have to pass the 20 increasingly difficult driving tasks (levels) that have been set out for you by bus driving test center. You can take on the tasks in any order that you like, but we recommend starting at Level 1, so that you can get used to handling the controls of the bus. You have an overhead view of the action. Use the Arrow Keys on your computer keyboard to maneuver your machine; Up Arrow = Accelerate; Down Arrow = Brake / Reverse; Left and Right Arrows = Steer. Hit Spacebar to apply the handbrake.

There are various difficult driving tasks to overcome, and you have to pass each one to earn your license. Avoid crashing into anything! These tasks include driving through an obstacle course of cones (buoys), parallel parking, picking up children and dropping them off at other stations, and more. Each Level has a written description of it on the main Level Selection screen. Left Click on the Level you want to attempt using your computer mouse or touchpad. If you successfully complete a Level within the allotted time (indicated in the top left corner), the Instructor holds up a large green check mark. If you fail a Level, he holds up a big red X, and you have the option of starting again, or selecting another Level.
