Skill Puzzle to Play Online – Gem Barrels
Gem Barrels is a tricky, skill-based puzzle game, where the goal is to collect Gems on each level by carefully shooting a Cannonball from Barrel to Barrel. On each level, the goal is to collect every precious Gem, but you can only fire the ball once from each Barrel. This game will help to exercise your problem-solving skills as you choose which path the Cannonball needs to travel to collect each Gem. Choosing the right pathway isn’t easy, because once you use a Barrel to fire the Cannonball, you can’t use it again.
You also have to contend with the clock, as there is a timer ticking away on each level. As you progress through the levels, things get even trickier as moving blockades try to stop your Cannonball from reaching the next Barrel. There is some trial and error required in this game, but don’t give up! This brain-teaser will exercise your creative abilities as you try to figure out which is the correct path to acquire the most Gems. Ready? Those Gems won’t collect themselves, so let’s go!
How to Play: Using your computer mouse, aim each barrel so that when you fire the Cannonball – it will travel from one to the other. As you move your computer mouse, the barrels will move in the direction of your cursor. To fire a ball, simply left click. If you have aimed correctly, the ball zooms across to the next barrel, collecting Gems as it goes along. To progress, collect each of the Gems on a level. Remember, once you collect all the Gems, the ball must be caught in the last barrel.
If you miss a barrel and the ball flies off screen, you lose a life. Once you lose all your lives, you have to go back to the start. You can see how many lives/Cannonballs you have left at the top of the game screen. You can’t be too slow either, because there is a timer clicking down at the bottom of the game screen. Once that red timer runs out, you lose a life. Good luck!
Tip: Try to time your shots well. In later levels, moving objects try to block the path between Barrels. Time your clicks so that the ball avoids these objects and collects enough Gems on the path to the next Barrel.
