Business Administration Program:
This diploma program trains students in the most relevant, up-to-date aspects of business management and administration. In this business program, the curriculum reflects current trends and best practices in business administration. Courses include Business Essentials, Effective Business Writing, Marketing and Professional Skills. Students acquire computer skills, accounting knowledge and will learn about the fundamentals of project management, and gain important skills such as networking and communications. After graduation, a wide variety of career options are available in fields such as finance, business administration, office management, human resources and more!
Office Administration - Executive Diploma Program:
This 36-week program is designed to help you to develop the skills for the modern office environment. As part of your general studies, you will learn general business skills and comprehensive bookkeeping skills as well as gaining experience working with some of the most popular accounting software packages. You will become proficient at an advanced level in the Microsoft Office suite as well as receiving training in related Microsoft business software.
Accounting and Payroll Specialist Program:
This diploma program prepares students to excel in this in-demand business career. The 45-week program places an emphasis on providing a strong foundation of general accounting principles, along with the specific, industry-standard software used in the field. Students receive up-to-date training on the latest versions of AccPac, Simply Accounting and QuickBooks Pro, as well as general office programs like Excel, Access, MS Word and Outlook. Students will also take courses in advanced accounting and business studies, and are required to complete Canadian Payroll Association Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification courses which give them a foundation of payroll techniques and principles.
Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper Program:
This diplom
a program, through hands-on training in the key areas of accounting and payroll for businesses big and small, equips you with the tools necessary to meet the demands of the current job market. Learn how to use computerized accounting programs such as Simply Accounting and ACCPAC, and gain the necessary skills to keep a set of books, manually and on a computerized system. When you graduate, you will meet the requirements to receive the Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification from the Certified Payroll Management Program - CPMP (certifications set you apart from your competition!). This certification is nationally recognized as the standard of excellence for payroll training, so you can be confident that your CDI College diploma is recognized and respected in the business world.

Medical Office Administrator Program:
In this 36-week diploma program, you will develop the skills you need to work in a modern medical office. Build strong computer skills and use industry-standard software such as Microsoft Office suite and payroll and accounting software. Graduate prepared to enter jobs such medical office receptionist, medical file clerk, ward clerk or medical transcriptionist.
Medical Office Assistant Program:
Students of this diploma program develop skills in four key areas: medical terminology, medical office administrative skills, medical transcription, and word processing. The program also fosters the development of interpersonal skills, organizational effectiveness, and communication skills necessary to function in a medical environment. The training, in conjunction with a professional and self-confident attitude, will help prepare you for a career in a medical practice, clinic, hospital, or other medical / health care area.
Paralegal – Advocate Program:
Our 12-month Paralegal – Advocate diploma program is accredited by the Law Society of Upper Canada, and prepares you to enter the dynamic and challenging legal profession. Learn about all elements of the Canadian legal system, such as procedures and practices litigation, small claims court, and criminal procedure. Gain an understanding of employment law, residential landlord and tenant law, torts, contracts, and more. Paralegals may act as representatives for clients in landlord/tenant matters, federal and provincial tribunals, small claims court, name changes, and minor civil matters. Graduates are prepared to compete for paralegal jobs in corporate legal departments, law firms, insurance companies, financial institutions, courts and legal clinics, or in government. Graduates are required to write the Law Society’s Paralegal Licensing exam in order to practice in the Province of Ontario.
Pharmacy Assistant Program:
Our 45-week diplom
a program teaches you the skills you will need to successfully work in a modern pharmacy, and includes a field placement in a community pharmacy where students can put their classroom learning into practice. Learn drug and medical terminology, as well as basic pharmacology. Learn about filling orders under a pharmacist's supervision, identifying prescriptions, entering client information, the processing of paperwork for orders, drug dosage calculations, compounding, commonly used pharmacy computer systems, and pharmacy practices and procedures. You will also learn about the legislation, ethics, and workplace safety regulations applicable to pharmacies. Graduates will be prepared to apply for pharmacy assistant jobs.
Personal Support Worker Program:
If you are looking for a meaningful career that allows you to make a difference in the lives of many people in your community, the Personal Support Worker program is for you. Gain the core skills to provide support for clients in residential care facilities, adult day care centres or private homes. Learn to promote the emotional, physical and mental well-being of your clients. Collaborate with other members of an extended health care team. Put theory and skill into practice through multiple practicum placements.
