OUR PROJECTS

Computer Training
This is TCTC’s main operation. TCTC offer various computer courses for the different levels of computer knowledge.

Basic Courses; Such courses cover several Microsoft Applications and Internet like Adults Beginners, Adults Advanced and Internet Workshop are ideal for adult beginners, senior citizens and students who wish to start learning these applications. These courses follow the ECDL Core Syllabus and also lead to the Equal Skills Qualification.


 Learn IT

A basic practical computer course covering the basic steps from using Windows to writing a letter and using the internet. This course is divided into 3 parts and will eventually lead to an international certification that anyone could get in either EQUALSKILLS and/or ECDL. Both certifications are internationally recognised especially in Malta, now that we are well following European standards.


 Learn Web

A basic internet course covering the necessary skills needed to use the internet. This course is divided into 2 parts which will eventually lead to two different attendance certificates. During this course, several different topics will be covered whilst students will also have the opportunity to visit a number of interesting/useful websites.

 E-Anzjan

This elderly course gives the opportunity to the elderly to widen their knowledge with contemporary subjects that couldn’t be learnt in their times. These projects will acknowledge the elderly needs to learn ICT while joining them together in various organizations, helping them to be active, to stay integrated into society, to communicate and to learn. Indeed it will focuses on three main areas being basic computing skills, the internet and technology in practice whereas the latter will focus on practical daily issued faced by every one of us.

 E-Familja

This project includes a range of Computer and Academic courses for parents and children. Learning as a family is the concept behind this project where parents together with their kids will have the opportunity to attend together for computer classes as a family, sharing the same computer resources and notes.

Children Courses; Children can also attend a TCTC course. The TCTC Training Team has developed 3 courses with children in mind, the Whizz Kids Beginners Course, the Whizz Kids Advanced Course and Whizz Kids Part 3 consisting of Word and Publisher. Children can also complete the Equal skills course to get this internationally recognized qualification.



 Whizz Kids

A practical course ideal for children who want to familiarise themselves to the Windows environment. The course covers Windows, WordPad and Paint. Children will also learn how to control a mouse, to switch on and off a computer properly. TCTC gives the opportunity to children to continue with a Whizz Kids Advanced course. Apart from being suitable for children who have completed the Whizz Kids Beginners Course, this course is also adequate for children who have already mastered the basic skills as described in the Whizz Kids Beginners Course. The course entails consolidation of WordProcessing, familiarisation with PowerPoint, Excel, Internet and Windows.

 E-Tfal

This project was offered for Free last summer for all Maltese students. Through this course students learnt new concepts which are relevant to everyday life. Etfal covered various themes which aren’t tackled in normal educational classes. Such themes were covered through educational games and worksheets which made the lessons fun for children to learn.


ECDL Courses; TCTC are ECDL accredited centres. We offer ECDL Core and Advanced Courses as preparation for the ECDL tests. Tests are held daily in our centres.

 ECDL Start

This course is intended for those who use or might use a PC during their day to day work. ECDL assesses each participant with practical use of computers covering 7 modules for which a test is set. TCTC is accredited by the ECDL Foundation, to invigilate participants as well as correct ECDL tests in Malta.


 ECDL Advanced

Ideal for persons who want to go a step further in Computing. This European Certification gives the holders a preference since they will be capable of performing efficiency in their jobs. The course covers the 4 modules being Word-Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases and Presentations.


Specialised Computer Courses; TCTC also offer advanced/specialised courses like PC Technician Course, Web Design, Photoshop and SAGE.

 E-Photo

This course is aimed for those who wish to learn how to work with photos. This course is divided into 3 parts. The first part covers basic photo editing techniques whilst during the second part of the course advanced photo editing techniques will be covered through the Photoshop program. Basic video-editing techniques will be done in the third part of the course.

 Sage

This is a basic course in SAGE which introduces the software and its basic features and menus. This course leads to an advanced course in SAGE which covers reporting and high management features of SAGE.

 Photoshop

This course leads the students to understand most of the tools available in Photoshop and also gives practical examples of how these can be used for personal or business requirements. The course is based on various workshops that highlight the use of this application for image editing, photo enhancements, creative montages and image creation. Detailed course notes are provided during the course together with various images that will be used during the lessons. The course starts from a beginner’s level but moves on to a very advanced level.

 PC Technician

This course leads the students to become Junior Technicians. It will give a basic knowledge on PC hardware. The students will be able to assemble a computer from scratch, test it and install operating software on it. They will also have the opportunity to assemble a base bone computer on the workbench complete with all the necessary components installed.

 Web Design

This course leads the students to understand most of the tools available in order to design, build, upload and maintain a website. A follow-up course is the advanced course in web design which leads the students to understand the advanced features of the tools available in order to design, build, upload and maintain a website.

Recently, TCTC has also geared itself up to new opportunities. With the new project ‘PRIVAT - Get Juniors Right’, TCTC is now offering the opportunity to parents to send their kids to Junior Lyceum private lessons at specially low, subsidised prices. On the same line of business, TCTC has managed to acquire a City and Guilds licence in Business Skills. Indeed, we are now qualified to start offering courses related to business, secretarial and administrative subjects.


Business Courses

Those interested in attending business courses can also do so with TCTC. TCTC centres are now offering courses leading to business Certificates, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas in business skills.


Academic Courses

Through our new project called ‘PRIVAT – Get Juniors Right’, TCTC is now offering Revision Classes to all year six students as a preparation for the Junior Lyceum/Common Entrance examinations.
