American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco CA, has been a cornerstone of academics and classical training in the ancient healing arts of oriental medicine for the past 25 years. With a strong foundation in Classical Acupuncture, both technique and theory, as well as a renowned Chinese Herbal Program, the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine prepares our future practitioners for an exciting and rewarding career in interactive healthcare. With a population of approximately 800,000, San Francisco is one of America's most politically and culturally dynamic cities. San Francisco combines sheer physical beauty, cultural diversity, leisure and recreational offerings, and an ideal climate. Study in China - In affiliation with the Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, MSTCM students may complete a clinical internship at the Zhejiang TCM Hospital in Hangzhou, China at the end of their final quarter. This program provides a strong foundation in TCM theory, differential diagnosis and treatment skills. Students may choose to concentrate on in-patient visits in the hospital or outpatient studies, and may focus on either acupuncture or herbal medicine. Specialties include gynecology, pediatrics and internal medicine.

Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine - 3,065 hours (3 years and 3 months); Doctoral in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine - 1,284 hours (2 years); Basic & Advanced Tui Na Massage Certificates - 2 to 4 quarters; Basic & Advanced Shiatsu Massage Certificate - 2 to 4 quarters year. The college is aware that many students are balancing their personal lives, work, and school while attending ACTCM. Tracks have been put in place which enable students to know their yearly schedules in advance. ACTCM also offers flexibility of day, evening, and weekend classes on full, ¾, or part time tracks.
