Springfield College: After over 75 years as a small, private co-educational two-year College, Springfield College in Illinois has achieved a dream. We now have the ability to offer students the opportunity to remain on our campus and earn a bachelor's degree, awarded by Benedictine University. 2004 was a year to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the founding of Springfield College in Illinois and the first anniversary of our permanent partnership with Benedictine University, in Lisle, Illinois. The two institutions share a rich tradition of providing Catholic education. SCI provides scholarships and grants to help make a quality education affordable. Nearly 98% of students who apply for financial aid receive it.

Springfield, the capital of Illinois is located at the intersection of Interstates 55 and 72. Chicago lies 200 miles northeast of Springfield, St. Louis and Indianapolis lie 100 miles southwest and 195 miles due east, respectively. Programs:Associate, Bachelor and Master degree programs - We have a variety of educational opportunities such as computer technology and health science to creative writing and liberal arts. Small class sizes assure personal attention, and SCI students can expect to succeed: nearly 98% of SCI's graduates are accepted by their first choice transfer institution.
Programs are designed to meet the needs of traditional-age students as well as working adults. Our instructors are seasoned full-time and adjunct faculty members who are carefully selected for their experience in, and commitment to, the mission of the college. All instructors have earned their master or doctorate degrees or both and possess expertise in their specific disciplines within the scope of the program curriculum.
