 About us:

Buenos Aires Spanish is run by Fabiana A. Sordi, Spanish language teacher, translator and editor. She graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, with almost twenty years´ experience in teaching Spanish for foreigners.

Her family is made up of teachers and artists, and offer a different kind of courses, in a cozy and friendly environment, where the practice of the Spanish language goes far beyond the classroom.

 Aim:

Our aim is precisely that the Spanish language students could get involved with local people, taking part in our social life, and advise them of several activities not meant for tourists.

 Goal:

We focus on communication. Our main goal is to develop communicative skills for the students to be able to speak within days or weeks, always among native people.

 Personal Approach:

In order to achieve that, the students are treated as unique guests during their stay in Buenos Aires. We personally pick them up at the Airport, take them on excursions, and organize meetings and parties at home with Spanish speaking friends and neighbors, providing a lot of opportunities to practice what they are learning.

 Courses:

Full Immersion Spanish Programs; General Spanish Courses; Business Spanish Classes; One-to-One Spanish Tuition.

 Accommodation:

The houses and apartments for Spanish language, cello and tango students are located in Belgrano-Coghlan, one of the main residential and commercial neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, Argentina, few blocks away from the place where the students take their Spanish language lessons, or their cello and tango courses. It is also one of the safest neighborhoods.

The host families have been carefully selected to give the Spanish language students the opportunity to share their daily life and practice the Spanish language they are learning, but also enjoy their independence as they wish. The host families will provide the students with their own fully furnished private bedroom.

 Discover Argentina:

The Republic of Argentina is a huge country with impressive landscapes and a fascinating history.

Its friendly people, highly literate and cultured, descend mostly from European immigrants (Spanish and Italian), who arrived here at the turn of last century in search of new opportunities. Buenos Aires, its capital city, founded in 1580, has grown into a cosmopolitan metropolis with an incredible and lively night life and cultural history.

The climate is predominantly temperate (5-15° C in winter, 28-35° C in summer) and the official language is Spanish. Excellent inexpensive food and safe tap water are available everywhere.
