Commedia International Theatre School
The Commedia School is a two year, full time,
actor training program founded in Stockholm in
1978 by Ole Brekke and Carlo Mazzone-Clementi,
it was moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1983 and
attracts students from several continents.
Training at the school involves the entire
being, foremost the body. Classes, which are in
English, start each September. The course is
based on the pedagogical methods of Carlo
Mazzone-Clementi and Jacques Lecoq. Graduates of
the school are working in various performing
milieu including stage, film, circus, cabaret,
and the streets all over the world.

The course is divided into distinct but related theatre disciplines, primarily movement, including: Analysis of movement (Feldenkrais), mime, acrobatics, but also voice, approaching texts, and performing before the camera (film). The course is a two year journey of discovery.
