Our school, located in the West End district of Winnipeg, continues to maintain low student to teacher ratios in its courses and it aims for intimate classroom settings where learning is enhanced. Audio in Media - Diploma (Full-time):A six month intensive diploma programme and practical learning experience designed to provide graduates with the vocabulary, primary technical skills and concepts for a wide range of positions in the audio production field.
Students will be qualified to fill a variety of positions in areas such as live sound, studio recording, radio production, sound for film/TV,and theatre, and sound design for gaming and video.
Students utilize programs such as Pro Tools, Reason 4.0, and use the latest in professional audio equipment, a variety of resource material, and are given the opportunity to meet and work with numerous local musicians, producers, and engineers.

Introduction to Multi-Track Recording (Part-time):Our Introduction to Multi-Track Recording course has been popular among home recordists and musicians alike for many years. We provide a good balance of theoretical and practical training which all takes place in the studio. This course delivers a comprehensive introduction to the analogue "recording chain", subjects covered include Consoles, Microphones, Multi-Trac
k Recorders and Signal Processors. During the course our students are led through a complete recording session.

Introduction to Pro Tools (Part-time):This course introduces the industry standard Pro Tools workstation in a practical studio setting. Topics covered include an introduction to digital recording principles, hard disk recording, Pro Tools editing and mixing. This course also advances on subjects such as Signal Processing Techniques and Advanced Mixing Techniques. A "must" course for Pro Tools beginners.

Music with Reason (Part-time):On completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of; basic musical elements such as rhythm, harmony, form and structure; the Reason software system; and fundamental mixing and signal processing techniques. This course is ideal for novice users of Reason and educators who wish to incorporate technology within existing music courses (high school or post secondary).
