Languages in Action is an international organization of language schools providing opportunities to learn a language of your choice, at language schools around the world. Learn German in Austria with Languages in Action at our language school in Kitzbühel, Tirol, a beautiful, medieval city in the Tyrol region in the west of the country. Our German school was founded in 1981 and was accredited by the governmental body Campus Austria in 1990 as a German language school of outstanding merit. It is a small German school set in the Austrian Alps, surrounded by exceptional natural beauty.

Courses / Programs:
Our school offers courses that focus on the four key language skill areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing, while considerable attention is also placed on pronunciation, oral communication and the appropriate usage of language in daily situations. Our German courses in Austria are delivered by language professionals dedicated to advancing your German language skills quickly and effectively. Combine our skilled, university educated teachers with well-equipped classrooms and well-planned lessons, and you have the perfect situation in which to advance your German language skills much more effectively than at home, online or through software programs.
We use an interactive approach to language teaching, and your input in the classroom is essential to your language learning. We use many communicative activities such as role-plays, interviews and pair and group work, so you can be sure of lively classrooms.
Our schools provide individual or group courses for all levels from Complete Beginner through to Advanced. We also offer Intensive German courses and private German lessons. Specialized programs such as Business German and German for Seniors are also provided as well as the opportunity to combine your German classes with completeing the ski/snowboard instructors' certification.
Learn German in Groups:
You can take group language courses at our schools from between 15 and 30 hours per week. You will learn German in an energetic and fun group environment and you may find these group courses to be very supportive of your language learning.
Learn German One-to-One:
The benefit of individual German courses is that they are tailored to fit your particular language requirements. They are also suited to those who wish to study more intensely. You can arrange classes on a per hour basis or take 10, 20 or 30 hour a week packages.
Learn German in Combined Group and Individual Courses:
These courses put together the focus of individual study with the cooperative energy of group lessons, providing you with the best of both worlds. You may learn German in classes of 20 group hours + 2 individual hours or 20+4, 20+5, 20+6, 20+8, and 20+10 hours per week.
Focused German Courses:
If you wish to learn German for explicit areas of study or commerce, we can certainly help. We offer courses in business German, German and work experience, along with German for teachers, lawyers, and journalists.
Examination German Courses:
If you need to pass a German language competency test, we may have a course for you. Many of our language schools offer examination test and preparation courses such as the DSH, DaF, ZD, ZMP, ZOP, KDS, and GDS exams. These courses are examined by the Goethe Institut.
