Located in Shreveport, Louisiana, Guy's Academy is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology and accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences, Virginia. The vision of Guy's Academy is to provide quality career education and skill development to motivated students in high demand career fields. The primary goal of our school is to train the career minded individual and offer an education that will provide for an employable, responsible and accountable person.

After completing the required number of clock hours and being accepted for examination, you will take a state and federal written exam as well as a practical exam given by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology. After successfully completing all phases of the exam you will receive a license in the field for which you were trained. License's must be renewed annually on your birthday.
Programs:Cosmetology Program - 1500 Hours, Manicuring Program - 600 Hours, Esthetics Program - 900 Hours, Esthetics Plus Program - Iincludes Skin & Nails - 1250 Hours. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.
