Ohio State Board of Cosmetology License Information:
In order to obtain a license in cosmetology, esthetics, and nail technology in the state of Ohio, students must complete the requirements listed below. Please contact the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology for more information.

Requirements:
Cosmetology: 1500 hours
Esthetician: 600 hours
Nail technology: 200 hours
Hair designer: 1200 hours
Natural hair stylist: 450 hours

Managing Cosmetology (hair cutting and styling, skin care, nail care, makeup, and business building skills); Managing Manicuring (latest in manicures, pedicures, spa manicures, spa pedicure, nail extensions, and business building skills); Esthiology (facial techniques, waxing, makeup, health and nutrition, theoretical technical skills and business building techniques for the spa industry); Instructor Training Course (must have Managing Cosmetology License and High School Diploma or GED to begin)
