Portuguese Lessons in New York City
 One of the few full-service Portuguese language schools, Brazil Station offers educational, translation, and interpreter services in its mission to bring Brazil a little closer to New York. Since 2003, we have served over 500 students and dozens of companies and non-profits throughout the tri-state region. Our instructors, many of whom started teaching over ten years ago, are hired based on their proven ability to generate results by creating a dynamic, engaging and measured learning environment.
Our Location: The office is
located at 304 Park Avenue South, 11th floor, New York, NY
10010 in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan near the
famous Flatiron building.
Programs:
All of our classes and lessons are taught at all
levels from Beginner through Advanced.

Group Language Classes - These classes offer a
multi-week experience designed to improve your
familiarity and fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.

Private Language Lessons - Our lessons are based
on a set curriculum, which is then tailored to
the students' personal hobbies, interests and
work.

Semi-private Language Classes -
This option is ideal for people who have a friend or colleague at the same
level and they want to learn together.

Corporate Language Education - Instruction follows
a specific curriculum tailored to the corporation. Classes are based
on a pre-approved curriculum that includes
assessment tests, exercises based on business
case studies, interactive learning materials and
evaluation tests.
- Travel Class - We offer a two-hour crash
course designed to help you maximize your trip
to Brazil.
In the class, you will learn essentials about
the culture and language, including: How to
travel inside Brazil; How to order in a
restaurant; When, where and how much to tip;
How to say important words and phrases.

Portuguese for Spanish Speakers - Usually
Spanish speakers learn Portuguese faster than
people who speak other languages; these classes
account for that background. Classes are taught
by an experienced teacher fluent in both
languages.

English for Portuguese Speakers - These classes
are designed to help you learn to speak English
more comfortably, whether at work or in personal
situations. While grammar and rules are covered,
the emphasis is on conversational lessons.
