Quest Language Studies, Toronto:Quest Language Studies is an English language school in downtown Toronto (only 2 minutes walk from Bay subway), Ontario in Canada. Established in 1997, we offer English courses to students from around the world of all levels of English - from beginner to advanced. Our Career Pathway Programs (CPP) organises paid and unpaid internship programs (work experience placements). Students are placed with established Canadian and international companies based on their educational background, work experience and career objectives.

Internships Programs:
Business Internsh
ip Career Pathway Program (4 - 12 month paid work placement):
This program combines our Business Diploma Program with a paid internship placement. Students have the opportunity to practice and develop their English skills to effectively function in an English-speaking or international workplace which will greatly enhance their career opportunities. Minimum compensation for this internship averages $900 to $1000 per month.
The Business Internships CPP is offered in durations of 4 to 12 months. Fifty percent of the program must involve Intensive (25 hours per week) English study. At reaching level 7 or higher students must complete at least 4 weeks of the Business Diploma Program.
Advantage Career Pathway Program (6 - 24 week unpaid work placement):
Our Advantage CPP is an especially attractive program for students who are looking for short to medium term internships that will provide valuable English practice and workplace experience. Minimum registration is 6 weeks (2 weeks of study, 4 weeks of internship). A minimum of 2 weeks intensive study (25 hours per week) is required in any Core English Program per 12 weeks or less of internship. The maximum duration is 24 weeks.
Although this program is unpaid, it provides students with the best opportunity and flexibility in terms of job placement and duration of study. In addition to private firms, opportunities are also available with voluntary non-profit organizations for interested students.
Working Holiday Career Pathway Program (8 weeks - 1 year):
The Working Holiday CPP is specifically designed for Working Holiday Visa holders. In addition to developing English skills and job placement, students are provided with support throughout their entire time in Canada. During their internship, students may continue to use school facilities and equipment, attend activities and seek general counselling as needed. The minimum duration is 8 weeks and the maximum is 1 year.
Working Holiday Visa Information:
Working holiday visas are normally released once per year and should be applied for well in advance. Those wishing to obtain a Working Holiday Visa must be between the ages of 18 - 35 years old and be a citizen of one of the following countries:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Korea (Republic of), Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
