EIDE, in the city center of Santurtzi
EIDE is located in the city centre of Santurtzi, a fishing town on the norther edge of the Metropolitan Area of Bilbao. There is a good range of shops andmany excellent cafes and restaurantes, some with splendid views of the old an new harbours.
Santurtzi has en axcellen sports centre with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, for sports such as tennis, football, jogin, swimming...
The towns location is also excellent, because of its proximity to the centre of Bilbao, the beaches and the mountains. There are also frecuent buses, train and metro connecting Santurtzi with Bilbao and other towns.

ARRIVING AT SANTURTZI
By Plane
Bilbao Airport is the nearest airport, only 16 km from Santurtzi or from Bilbao. Both regular and low cost companies operate from this airport. There are flights to the most important Spanish and European destinations. A taxi to Santurtzi from this airport costs aproximately 30 €. It takes around 20 minutes to get to Santurtzi. The cheapest option is the Bus from Bilbao Airport to Termibus (Bus Station in Bilbao) and metro or train from the station to Santurtzi. It takes no more that 40 minutes.
Another good option is the airport of Santander, 75 km from Santurtzi. Ryan-air flies from many important European destinations to Santander. There is a direct bus from this airport to Termibus in Bilbao.
